 Born Westminster London 1954 It is my intention to make whilst avoiding the interference of my conscious self as far as is possible. I have devised strategies that, together with a certain frame of mind, remove the work from the vulnerable position of being worked on by someone who thinks he knows what he wants to make, how it should look and what it should have to say. There are many beautiful and moving things made by or as a result of human activity that were not motivated by a desire to make something attractive or profound. I have been awarded a first class honours degree and a master of arts degree with distinction. |
